In June, we are deeply grateful for the heartfelt invitation from Round & Round Gallery, which brought us the chance to share tea alongside the works of the late Japanese ceramic artist, Akari Karugane.

Our first encounter with her creations was during the summer of last year. We were deeply moved — her pieces, shaped from natural clay, are imbued with the quiet colors of the earth and sky. Humble yet grounded, they hold a quiet strength—restrained, calm, and profound.

We have curated a special tea gathering this June. During the session, we will exclusively use Akari Karugane's teawares, inviting each guest to experience the presence and warmth of his work—to feel the quiet vitality that lives within each piece.

Event Details

For this tea gathering, we will be serving the 2024 harvest of 大红袍瑞香, grown in the 水帘洞 region of Wuyi Mountain.
Refined through time and skillful roasting, the tea reveals a deeper, more concentrated fragrance. Its signature rock-mineral base unfolds in layers of floral and resinous notes—profound and enduring.

This session also marks a refreshed format for our gathering:
a three-course pairing experience that brings together tea, teaware, and thoughtfully selected sweets—offering a renewed sensory journey from sight to taste.

Course 1 – Mountain Breeze｜Cold Brew

Course 3 – Away from mountain｜Peach gum, RIce mochi & Taro

Different sessions are available daily, each lasting 1 hour.

Sessions: Four sessions daily — 11:00–12:00 / 13:00–14:00 / 15:00–16:00 / 17:00-18:00

Capacity: Maximum 4 guests per session.

Cancellation and Rescheduling policies

• For cancellations, please notify us at least 1 day in advance for a full refund.
• For rescheduling, please inform us at least 1 day in advance, and we will do our best to adjust the timing for you.
• There is a $10 charge for cancellation.
