Huang Yan (黄妍), was born in Luzhou, Sichuan. In 2017, she left her previous job and set out for Jingdezhen, marking the beginning of an ongoing artistic dialogue with ceramics-one grounded in mutual awareness and exploration. She is deeply drawn to objects with clean lines and subtle tones. White porcelain, in particular, has become her medium for expressing an inner sense of stillness, clarity, and infinity. Within the simplicity of white lies a gentle strength-an alternative warmth conveyed through clay.
